FAIR-CIIMAR aims on assessing in which extent the scientific publications produced by CIIMAR, in the last 3 years, meet the FAIR standards for data sharing and openness.By its very nature, marine and environmental research often relies on long-term, diverse and openly accessible datasets. Therefore, understanding the state of data availability and reusability of current CIIMAR publications can provide valuable insights into the institutional practices and in the possible areas for improvement.

Propose actionable measures (training, guidelines, infrastructure improvements) to strengthen FAIR implementation in CIIMAR than can reflect in CIIMAR’s publications.
